What is the status of the Mendez Program at other schools. I know our counselor used the program materials at MCS and HDS last year. Are other schools using this program or something else with character education? We also had our first Career Day this year. I don't think I saw any reference to Career Day in the document. It might be good to add it if that's something other schools do as well.
AHS used the Mendez program and embedded the content in the PE/Health classes. I agree that the earlier we begin career inquiry and awareness, it can only help to inspire our students.

ReplyDeleteWe are trying to get the Mendez program going at HD with the PE classes as well.
ReplyDeleteThe counselor at TCEC has reorganized our ISS program to incorporate the principles of Character Education using Choice Theory ideals.
